Car sales have increased by 57% when compared to sales from November 2008. The sharp increase in sales are due to the governments scrappage scheme. However the car industry future remains uncertain with the VAT increase due to take place in January and the scrappage scheme coming to an end. Road tax rates are due to increase from April. Ford Fiesta has been the top selling car of the year. |
